The National Council for History Education (NCHE) is holding their national conference between March 19-21, 2015 in St. Augustine, Florida. The conference is being held in St. Augustine to commemorate the 450th anniversary of the oldest permanent European settlement in the United States. The national conference is a place where historical thinkers can come together and share their passion for teaching and learning.
The Fritz Fischer Scholarship Fund offers scholarships to attend the NCHE National Conference. The scholarship includes conference registration, a full year of membership in NCHE and fifty dollars towards enrichment, excursions and events. All K-12 history teachers are eligible to apply. The application deadline is December 15, 2014.
