Rural Schools Collaborative Grant Applications Due May 15, 2015

Teachers at all grade levels (K-12) are eligible, but applicants must be certified teachers in a rural public school setting. The Rural Schools Collaborative will consider projects or learning activities from all content areas, and interdisciplinary projects will receive strong consideration. Applications will be accepted until May 15, 2015.

Grants in Place proposals should feature the basic tenets of place-based education:
  • Name, position, school, and community
  • All pertinent contact information
  • Name of building administrator and contact information
  • Brief description of your project; include community issue or problem
  • The role of students in your project
  • How community members will be involved
  • A very simple project budget
